We’ve all been told that you can’t have pizza for breakfast. We’ve also all eaten pizza for breakfast. But as it turns out, pizza might be a better for you breakfast option than some traditional breakfast options.
Nutritionist Chelsey Amer told The Daily Meal, “You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories.” She went on to that, “pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning."
So that settles it. Cereal is out. Pizza is in. We go back to eating pizza for breakfast, cold or hot, and living our lives as we please.
