While this is first and foremost a pizza newsletter, we do have to stay abreast of all happenings in the broader food world. Thatās why we have to give a quick shoutout to Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, a NYC staple, for creating pizza ice cream. Yes, you read that correctly.
I have yet to try it, but itās available for purchase soon! 2022 is certainly an interesting time to be alive.

Tour updates
We got touring again this past weekendāan intimate affair in the West Villageāwhere we swung by spots both old and new. Hereās a quick breakdown:
Village Squareāour friends hooked it up with a few delicious slices. The vegan eggplant is a personal favorite but the white pie did not disappoint.
Moustacheāa Middle Eastern restaurant underneath the Friends building that specializes in āpitzasā that have thin crust. We got the lamb and parsley variety and ditched the cheese (where my lactose intolerant friends at??)
Spunto Thin CrustāA neighborhood staple, Spunto (and its sister, ends in āOā pizzerias) hit us with a lovely mushroom and pep pie.
