What is to expect on Bob’s “A Slice of Baltimore” tours?
Bob’s “A Slice of Baltimore” tours will be visiting some of Baltimore’s top pizzerias and restaurants in the Charm City. On every tour guests will walk between three restaurants and get to try at least one tasting or slice at each place we visit while learning more about the styles of pizza/food in Baltimore, history of some of Baltimore’s oldest and newest restaurants, and be guided by Bob and/or a trusty Bob’s Pizza Tour guide.
Some of the pizzerias that we plan on visiting on future tours included Paulie Gee’s, Arthouse, Underground Pizza, Joe Benny’s, Johnny Rads, Verde, Matthew’s, Diamondback Brewery, Pizza DiJoey, Noona’s, Double Zero, Little Donna’s, Barfly’s - and many more!
What else is new in the pizza world?
SOOO - Mama’s TOO! and L’industrie are coming to NYC’s West Village?
Per Mama’s Too!’s post on Instagram, ‘Don’t worry, it’ll get real saucy once im done with it pal—-West Village, here we come—-and of course we are staying on the UWS ❤️ you guys are our day ones #SUMMER2023 #PARTTOO’.”
But…that’s not all. L’industrie is coming too!
Per L’industrie’s Instagram “#westvillage coming soon ❤️🍕🍦”
Add that to the a few other pizzeria openings in the West Village area over the past few months (Daddies, L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, etc.) and West Village could pretty much just break off at this point and be its own city with plenty of amazing pizza options.
What’s new with Bob’s Pizza Tour?
Not too much, how bout you? Myself, Jack, and our new guides Molly and Tanya are keeping busy hosting some amazing guests in NYC and keeping tabs on the pizza scene.
We recently made our first visits to Pizzette in Williamsburg), Tutt'Appost in Park Slope and my first visit to Brooklyn DOP’s brick and mortar shop in Park Slope (I previously met them when they were still slinging pies out of their apartment). Peep some photos below.
Much more to come soon. For now, let’s get that bread cheese and sauce.
Keep up to date with us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, here, and our website.
