We hope that everyone had a restful and pizza-filled holiday season! We’re thrilled to get the ball rolling again this year and have a lots of fun things planned for 2023.
First up, we are thrilled to welcome one of the OG Neapolitan pizza restaurants to our in backyard in the West Village. After opening a location in Los Angeles, L’antica Pizzeria da Michele opens on Bank Street in New York City. Rest assured, our West Village route will be incorporating head pizzaiolo Michele Rubini’s pies into the tour!
Check out our 2023 tour dates and come join us!
Another recommendation
If you’re a fan of Neapolitan pies but want to remain in the outer boroughs, check out Leo in Williamsburg. The sister restaurant of Ops in Bushwick (and keeping with 3-letter naming conventions), Leo dishes out some gorgeous sourdough pies.
These delicious pies had a firmer crust than a traditional wood-fired pie but still offered heaps of flavor.
New Year’s Resolutions?
As we enter the new year, if anyone needs inspiration for their list of New Year’s resolutions, here’s one we can all agree on: Eat More Pizza!
If that conflicts with any health conscious goals you might have, feel free to take a page out of Marc Wilkinson’s book: Pizza to the People!
Not a bad time to be in Scotland 🏴🍕🏴!
That’s all for now—until next time!
